Risk assessments outside the performing arts sector

Published on 20 October 2024 at 18:43

In my previous posts I have talked about the process of writing and recording risk assessments.

Hopefully, you will have seen my posts and already know that I have a great deal of experience in writing risk assessments.

Whilst my business name reflects the name of the sector I do the most work in, there is a whole world of areas outside this zone that I can and have worked within.

Who can ask for my help with risk assessments?

The answer to the question is quite simple. Anyone can ask me for a risk assessment or help to write a risk assessment regardless of what they need it for. My preferred method of recording risk assessments allows great flexibility, and is not limited to one area.

Currently I'm working on several risk assessments for the Scout group that my daughter attends. From a simple assessment for being in the hall that they use, to more complex assessments for learning new skills (such as fire lighting). I am also in the process of reviewing many of the risk assessments that have been put in place for the Gymnastics school that I'm an administrator for.

Whether you run a weekly group, an occasional holiday club or multiple groups over multiple locations, you can ask for my advice and support. The most important question you have to ask yourself is what is the worst that can happen? And do you need to be able to prove you considered the risks?

I'm offering a free consultation service to discuss what you might need in terms of a risk assessment, this may take place either via a series of messages/emails or a video call.

Together we can beat the battle of paperwork
